If this was commercially available I would buy it. Be aware that wide propellor blades that overlap each other dramatically cut there noise output by 80%+...

well, knowing most ekranoplans, it could move MUCH faster than a car (and usually planes by a long shot too.), is more efficient than a plane, and flies about 40 to 150 feet above the water, above the risk of waves. Also they're often simpler than planes, which means cheaper.
