I dig it, 'cause it's got a slight hint of illicit dope-tool appeal. Secret data!

wood not plastic or metal, I love the natural feel, texture & warmth. Worth wearing around the neck, especially not in work situation. Could have it on all the time just in case. You'd fell a bit of a wally with a standard one around your neck.

Can't lose the cap - very useful. I have seen other wood-encased electronics products (wooden iPod housing) which just look great. Plus, wood looks great even after it gets beat up a bit, so for electronics on the go like this, it wood (get it?) be fitting. :)

i like the material choice, but even as a necklace i dont think its fashionable...though thats subjective, admittedly

Nice, go to natural

The cord could get in the way, adding some notches for the cord to slip through could fix that. I like that the cap is attached. A huge improvement over cheap plastic, and probably more durable.

To be perfect why not a Ipod Shuffle?

Beautiful. But if it's produced by Lexon... it *does* exist.

I love this. It might not be a bad idea to have the wood itself engraved with different designs or symbols (optional, of course).

I don't like it. Seems to hard to use. You would have to pull it far enough a way to clear the other peace. and To give the leather room to bend correctly. Bad all around.

I like it a lot. I'd like to see a thumb drive necklace in lots of different designs. It would even be cool to have one thumb drive that can be worn in whatever necklace case you wanted to wear that day.

lovely design

Thumb drive necklaces are much nicer than thumb drive lanyards. Very nice design. I have also seen the African wood thumb drives, and I like those better simply because it's for a good cause and they have designs. But good idea.

Very cool, see so many people loose their drives so often, such an awesome way to tackle that problem keeping the good looks. As the technology gets miniaturized even further...; may be even small enough to be worn as a ring drive some day!

I personally like the modern look. No thanks.

Hmmm....I think it has been done before. Not very original. I do like the wood though :)

This drive wouldn't fit in my computer.

(Sat, 03 Jul 2010 02:37:26 GMT) Mike Nagnik says

ooh, pretty. I made something sorta like this in my wood-shop (actually just a hole drilled in my lathe thigummy) that I now store stuff that could really, really mess with your computer if you weren't smart. I do love woodentech.
