A Filtered water delivery device that reads the quality of your water.
Provides a user friendly interface and quality assurance of your drinking water.
I like the idea..I think there could be a need there. How does it read the quality of water?

Believe me, there are places where the lack of paranoia makes you ignore the metallic taste and the fizzing bubbles in water.
I love the shape, although I think there would be some problems when it pours water. It seems rather impractical, maybe a more pronounced angle would help.

How often do you think that H2O quality varies in any household capable of affording it?
It contains TDS monitoring technology that reads the level of ppm in your water (iron, nitrate ect.) if it reads below 160 it displays the number on the screen and a blue light indicates that water is filtered.... if it reads above 160 a red light indicates a filter change is needed.
I think I would purchase something like this. I dont always trust the quality of tap water. Not because I am paranoid for no reason but I think water quality could vary from time to time in countries outside the USA.
I agree and disagree with Osman, I think the water IN the USA should be checked not just for quality but for lifeforms. I am from California and now live in Iceland and the water here is so pure it is the Virgin Mary. I still set off metal detectors from drinking USA tap water. IT'S GREAT.
There definitely is a need for water quality meters as U.S. water is generally very bad. Something very similar to your product actually already exists in Sweden by a company known as Kuna: www.kunawater.com. They have yet to release this product, but I did see it at the Water Quality Convention in Chicago earlier this year. Nice Design.

I think it's great, but the design could use some work. It does look a bit awkward for pouring the water. However, the display for water quality is great as you could monitor when to change your water filter, too. With a new design, I think it would do great.

In a developing/third world country, you surely need this. Only matter is the price.

i would buy it TOMORROW.
Why not just buy a water purifier/filter?
Yeah I'll buy it, as long as you can show me it hasnt been developed with Société Anonyme des Eaux Minérales d'Evian or Perrier :)
Osman Ozcanli, outside of the U.S. ? Yeah, I feel really reluctant do drink tap water here in Sweden. :P
