I like the concept a lot, but the design needs work. I don't like the idea of having to clean my microwave every time I spill something on the counter.
This is an excellent concept. Over-the-range microwaves give me the creeps and I'd like the extra counter space. I see Jay's point about counter spills, but I doubt it would be any worse than cleaning the oven door after spilling something on the range. Just goes with the territory. Unless it could be self-cleaning? Nah, too much to hope for.
This is a great idea. Would fit in very well with a kitchen designed to have that industrial feel- great space saving idea!
