Something like this is needed for airport lounges. I know the current seat models are deliberate uncomfortable, but passengers do not hang around airport lounges waiting for delayed departures for fun.

Your solution is just another way to work around the problem, however I'd prefer to fold the bottom part on the chair, instead of sliding it under the chair.
