It's missing the comfy factor. I would be more concerned about making sure it would be super comfortable and have the bookshelf feature built in. The design of this particular chair makes it look cluttered when it is filled like that. Plus you would have to get up to get a new book. Colors would have to change to fit most decorations. Maybe change the chair to have a reclining feature with a drawer at the base of the chair that can store books, remotes, etc. That would be a more useful book-chair. This one just looks like a "designer bookcase" instead of a relaxing chair.

Thanks for reply.
First it is a chair and then it is a shelf. Here is only one view but to get complite presentation you can visit the site: www.solovyovdesign.com -- concepts -- ofo.
The comfort can be reached only by the ergonomics and this chair has all the necessary parameters.
About the cluttered book. It is not bookshelf for permament storage. it is place where you can put several your fauvorite magazins or books befere sleepeng. On the pic. I put a lot, but it doesn't mean everyone will keep all the library here.
Thanks for reply

I like the idea but I really require the chairs I buy to have soft billows.
You could probably hook some to that since it's open underneath the chair-part but that might raise the sitting position too high. =/
So while I'm voting no, it's pretty much because I have had enough hard seats in school.

As opposed to chairs WITHOUT built in bookshelves, Shamo? I think it looks nice, and it's a clever way to keep items at hand. Btw, I sit in my wooden dining room chairs all the time and somehow manage to survive without cushions.
I like it. My only concern is that it looks a little high to get into, and the armrests look a bit flimsy to put your weight onto while jumping backwards into it (I'm short, I spend a lot of time thinking about this stuff!). Maybe have a similar designed footstool to go with it? Thus said, I'm a sucker for "hidden" places to store stuff.
If it had more likable coloring, and was actually comfortable, I would totally buy this chair. But it should be maybe a mahogany wood with a red cushion, and look more exquisite and expensive as opposed to little kid-ish.

good for classes grade school maybe in cramped places? not for residential use
Only if it were like springy or something, and/or if it could turn itself into a lounging position.
