I like the looks and design of it. I just dont think its practical. Those who are looking for the "open" driving experience will go for a sport bike. The thrill is the lean in corners. Atv's are for people who dont know how to ride a motorcycle, so you might have some competition from the scooter market.

I like the design, don't know the technical side.

Looks sweet, but the problem is that the vehicle must technically be considered a car due to the fact that it has four wheels and is therefore not street legal. looks fun though.

That's just a posh looking quad isn't it?

Yeah...it looks kinda cool...some quadbikes are road legal, i expect if this were to take off it would be...it's alternative, people might go for it. it'll be less dangerous than a bike. i'd probably buy it.

Hell yeah I would buy this. Those looking for "open" driving who would go for a two seater convertible (such as the Mazda MX5 oe Miata in USA which is virtually for solo driving, tiny things) This would turn heads!! +1 pose factor.

I have seen a similar concept which allows the rider to lean into turns. The wheels are narrower and tilt with the rider. I don't know how the leaning thing works but there was a working prototype. I ride a triumph 900cc bike which is fun but this thing would be much better for commuting and could be fun as well if it were powerful enough.

So you still get wet but you can't lean into the corners? Damn silly if you ask me

"it'll be less dangerous than a bike" you really think so? I only have the above picture to reference, but to me I don't see the Quark concept having the same nimbleness and mobility or acceleration of a sportbike. I actually could see it having the SUV flip-over-factor happening to it. But then again I am a very biased crotch-rocket rider ;)

My opinion is this would be a bitch in turns (as others have said) but I gotta admit, this *Looks* really sharp... Also. at least where I live, open air vehicles (motorcycles, Converts...) are neither practical nor prevalent. But then again, this design is not really about practicality, now are they?

I have been riding quads off-road for years and they are quite stable and a blast to ride. It looks like this one has a wider wheel base than a standard off-road quad. I don't think it was intended to be the same experience as a CBR or anything, more for people that just don't want to eat road if they hit a little gravel on a turn. I agree about the weather thing. Probably not a great way to get around in Michigan or Seattle but not bad in the warmer areas of the world. But the same can be said for motorcycles and converts. as well.

I can see the tagline now... For the ATV riders with CLASS... Looks really good, but not really much use. Probably not street legal, and definitely wouldn't go off roading with it because it looks too pretty.
