Hi! Thanks for a feedback!
there are lot of possibilities to make an adhesive surface appropriate for the skin.
2 keith: Tnx. I do not know is it ok to post 2 pictures of one project, you can find the picture of bigger size with more info on my site: http://solovyovdesign.com
Again, this is sooo American. In a lot of places in Europe we do not let time run our lives. WE run our lives. This is just a ridiculous and SILLY thing. We laugh at this.

This kind of disposable design is disgusting. Why do we need to create more disposable rubbish. THINK!

great idea, and it doesn't necessarily have to be disposable. what might make it more functional is the ability to check pulse when stuck to the wrist, for athletic training.

This would be perfect for going to the gym, workouts where you need to take off your watch to do wrist curls/arms curls and swim routines.
Yes please.

I actually like this design alot. I think it has a alot of practical applications, however I find myself curious as to a few things:
1. What kind of materials does it use, ie. could it be made out of entirely bio-degradable materials?
2. What is the longevity of the Adhesive?
3. Is it price-feasible? - a disposable item like this would have to be reasonably cheap to produce.
If meeting those milestones was possible then I can see it being a very useful (even if perhaps situational) product.

It's a good idea, you may need a warning though. Many people are alergic to certain types of adhesives, especially medical adhesives.

what kind of battery? how long of a life? and if they are sold in packs like bandages, would you have to set the time on each individual one?

Cute idea, but most people can't set their regular wrist watches. How are they going to set these?
you should use it for medical not for sports or gym. for example in a hospital setting time between medications and make it writable with a marker pen ect.. to list information disposable hypoallergenic and anti bacterial then its got good use and make it temperature sensitive in like black strip on the side of urine sample cups that tells you temperature that would be cool and you would sell millions and I want a cut just remember who gave you the idea
Sounds expensive. Also, how long would one of these last? You can buy a watch for a dollar and it'll last years. This looks like you'd be lucky to have it last hours before falling off.
I love the idea..does it use a medical grade adhesive? I wish we could see more of the product on the image you uploaded.
This sounds very cool, but I can't see what's going on. Can you crop the picture so we see the actual product?
A recent Timex design comp comes to mind... I do like it, I want one or a pack...

Igor, do you have another image that shows a closer view and more detail?
only on my site: www.solovyovdesign.com
Igor, I love the Alpis cell phone on your site.
thank you!
Interesting concept, but once again a wasteful product. We need design with eco awareness.

maybe can used for another concept
maybe a medical utilities
Disposable stuff is no-no in a junk-filled world of today...
ahh. more garbage. thats what the world needs.... i think designers might try to focus on stuff that people don't want to throw away.
