I'd make one instead of shelling out for it. But as a concept it's cool, so I'll take one.

I like it, I would totally buy it if it was available and wasn't a fire hazard... Brad

Just what everyone needs, like a moose needs a hatrack.

umm... I'm just guessing, but it probably would be lit with LEDs or something. not all lights get hot, only the consumer and super bright ones...

I wouldn't like buy this as I'd more inclined to make my own. Neat idea though.

Good idea as a nightlight or to add mood to a room. If it is made with LEDs, that would make the bulbs never burn out, require low power to use, and you could make different colors for different mood lighting. This would really dress up a bookcase! Only problem is, how would it run? Batteries? Wall socket?

Looks kind of stupid hanging from the ceiling. Get bookworms crashing into it instead of moths.

Excellent idea and great design!

Respect - for the inventiveness, ease of implementation, and the fact that it actually does what it is designed to do. Even so, fake stuff annoys me intensely - especially fake books. My bookshelves are too tightly packed for it to shed light effectively .

Hey, next time you want to burn down 1000 people's houses, do it with gas.

I can see this flying out of Ikeas everywhere. That's a compliment, btw! I like it!

One light in the midst of hundreds looks like a movie scene. Might work for a desk if you want a single book to be in the middle of everything.

Probably benefit from LEDs more, maybe used as book ends too. I don't actually own any books so its still a no for me but someone will like it
