Background:
Tom graduated from Central St Martins College of Art & Design in 2002. He was shortlisted for the prestigious OXO Peugeot Design Award and won the furniture category with his Note Table in the same year. The following year he was named runner up in the lighting category for the same award with his Scratch Light.
In 2004 Tom exhibited his Note Table and Scratch Light at the Milan International Furniture Fair with Design London. He was then nominated by the readers of ARENA Magazine as ‘One to watch in design’ for the ARENA X Club Men of the Year Awards. Later that year his Scratch London installation was shortlisted for the Bombay Sapphire International Glass Prize. Tom was most recently rewarded a D&AD for outstanding promotional design work for Wieden and Kennedy.
He has worked on projects with Hemingway Design, Tom Dixon, The OXO Tower, Totally London, Jam Design, Carhartt Clothing, The Home Office and Saatchi & Saatchi to name a few.
